Magical Rice

Who knew cooking rice could be so exciting!?!

Here is the latest commercial for the Korean Rice Cooker, Cuckoo!

I'm very excited about the idea of having another light-up/talking/pretty appliance in my possession. This rice cooker has so many functions and makes cooking a breeze. When the rice is done, a cute little bell rings as well. Cuckoos can be purchased at H-Mart stores across the nation, or online at Hmart.com.

Let the rice magic begin!

Crush

This is way cute. Thanks CK. :)

Rejected!

I am in loooove with Chemistry.com's new advertising campaign. I was unaware that eHarmony.com actually rejects people! I think it is time for a new dating site and Chemistry makes a good point with these commercials:

I don't know about you, but I'm convinced! Bring on the hotties! It looks like a fun site which doesn't necessarily push marriage as much as the jdates and match.com's of the world. According to the website, their "next-generation compatibility matching is based in part on the science of brain chemistry, which some experts believe is the core of who we are as human beings." I'd also like to think that this dating site will bring in a fresh batch of customers... since I did see this on mTV, right?

Loving Lingerie

As many of you know, before my entrance into the fashion design world, I was a lingerie expert!

One of my favorite places to purchase lingerie is at Figleaves.
$15 off $100 120x190

This is a great way to find "hard to find" sizes. And yes girls, you are most likely wearing the wrong size. Walk, don't run to Nordstrom right now and get fitted! One of my favorite brands is Freya. Amazing support and oh-so pretty lace.

Boston Pic of the Day

So, I had a great time in Boston this past weekend!
For your enjoyment, here is your pic of the day.

Get Inked

I must say… I’m really into this new TV show, LA Ink.
Tattoo artist, Kat Von D, opens a super cool tattoo shop in LA called, High Voltage Tattoo. As we gaze upon TLC TV, Kat takes us on a journey of drama, design and ink-filled fun. I’m really in love with the interior of the parlor. Hot pinks with large graphics, paintings and extreme décor. Kat claims that these are objects that she has been collecting over the years. I suppose when you’re a modern-day pin-up girl, people are more than happy to give you a lot of free cool stuff.

This new program truly makes me really really really want a tattoo. Well, so do all of my friends that have cool tattoos. However, despite my ever changing style, I can’t see myself ever marking my body. I often contemplate removing my industrial piercing, but then I will have holes in my ears! I can see myself getting over body décor very fast. In an ideal world where tattoos are easily removable and interchangeable, I’d be really into getting a modification of one of the tattoos featured on the show or maybe

The most Amazing MASCARA ever!!!

Ladies (and some guys), you know who you are. You think that you've found the most amazing mascara. No, it is not Lancome or YSL. The best mascara in the world is most definitely Kevyn Aucoin The Mascara for Volume in Rich Pitch Black!!!

A make-up artist told me about this a few months ago. She claimed that it gave great length, separation and best of all, no raccoon eyes. I had to find out for myself. I scurried over to Henri Bendel's on my lunch break to buy 3 tubes (I just assumed it would be amazing, and had to get one for my mom.

And guess what!? I loved it. This mascara comes off in a most unique way... it slides off with make-up remover or soap and water.

If you can't get over to Henri Bendel's (one of the only stores that sells it), head on over to the Drugstore:
